Hope In Sight

More than one billion people cannot see well because they do not have access to glasses. More than 3 in 4 of the world’s visually impaired people can be prevented. What can be done to stop this irrational fact?

The recent World Health Assembly resolution on eye health represents the next milestone for global eye health. With the political commitment to take action to make eye care an integral part of universal health coverage and to implement “people-centered integrated eye care,” there is #HopeInSight.

On this World Sight Day, let us seek solutions that ensure that everyone, everywhere, can see. We promise to spread the message #HopeInSight.
